Weight No More Competition
December 31, 2009

Kishwaukee Community Hospital and Kishwaukee Family YMCA are pleased to present the 2nd Annual Weight No More Competition, a ten-week nutrition and exercise focused program which is new and improved for 2010. Participants of the program learn how nutrition and exercise can work together to help them achieve their weight loss goals. Registration is open from Jan. 2 to Feb. 12.

Join Kish Hospital and Kishwaukee Family YMCA in kicking off the Weight No More Competition at the initial orientation meeting on Tuesday, March 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. At the orientation, participants meet and weigh in with their team leader. Teams are determined prior to orientation.

Participants become part of a small group led by a team leader who helps them to stay on track. Weight No More membership includes registration in a variety of wellness classes at Kish Hospital, a fitness class at the YMCA, and a pass to the YMCA for the duration of the program. The final weigh in will be on May 18. Winners are announced at Fit Fest May 19.

The cost to participate in the Weight No More Competition is $30 for YMCA members and $85 for non-members. Registration is required; call Sue Munz at the YMCA, at 815.756.9577.
