KishHealth Safari Carnival set June 3
May 19, 2006Don’t miss this fun and healthy safari event! The 2006 KishHealth Carnival is Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Kishwaukee Community Hospital front lawn.
Enjoy a variety of healthy attractions and games, embark on a safari adventure tour of the new hospital construction site, and learn about health and safety organizations in our community. Over 65 vendors from Northern Illinois will be present including fitness centers, healthcare clinics, physicians, emergency service providers, and service organizations.
Area vendors will be providing cancer spot checks, child ID cards, wellness screenings, and chair massages. DeKalb County Safe Kids will also offer car seat checks in the south parking lot of the Kishwaukee Family YMCA.
Challenge your friends to water fights by the Sycamore Fire Department, experience the DeKalb Fire Department Smoke House, pose for a photo in an Army National Guard hummer, and tryout emergency equipment from Kishwaukee Community Hospital Emergency Medical Services.
The KishHealth Carnival is free to the public and is sponsored by Kishwaukee Community Hospital, B95-WDKB, Daily Chronicle and The MidWeek.
